Here is a jazzy sounding country lick which is played over an E7 chord. The jazzy sound comes from the use of chromatics between notes of dominant scale. A dominat scale is a major scale with a lowered seventh degree. The line falls almost entirely in the fourth position and may be moved readily to other position and user in other key!
