来自英伦优秀的二人电子乐团古菲。阿曼达（Groove Armada）由Tom Findlay及Andy Cato组成，从98年出道至今发行过5张专辑，全球销量超过160万张，他们推出的每张专辑都能震撼欧美乐坛甚至连巴西著名肥皂剧也使用他们的歌曲作主题曲，在亚洲地区也有不少电子乐迷为之疯狂。
二人电子乐团古菲阿曼达发行首张专辑《Northern Star》时便被舞国指标月刊Muzik封为最佳新进艺人专辑，又凭借第二张专辑《Vertigo》入围全英音乐奖最佳新进艺人，还被舞美杂志Ministry颁发最佳Chill-Out专辑，众多殊荣使其迅速飙升为英伦首席电音组合。威名远扬的古菲阿曼达也因此得到诸多歌坛前辈的肯定，还曾应歌坛大姐大麦当娜之邀为其单曲《Muisc》作混音。
《混音》专辑中的歌曲则均由99年强档专辑《Vertigo》的顶级制作班底制作编辑的八个音轨， DJ Icey、Attaboy、Kinobe与Tim共同混音，并且歌曲是从《Rap》专辑中收录得来，包括冠军歌曲《If everybody looked the same》、《Your Song》及《Chicago》、《A private interlude》等四首纯音乐。人声、各式电子音色效果、Hip-Hop说唱一一融合，是真正混音珍品全收录，在新年来临之即绝对震撼舞池、晚会、滑冰场的最佳杰作。
在1997年Groove Armada第一首单曲"At The River（河流领域）"创下空前的纪录。最初限制七版500份的发行，因太过受欢迎，于世界各地有不同的版本发行。同年Groove Armada发行首张专辑。结合Jazz与funk音乐整合技术，达成广域的电子感觉与混音效果。
1999年4月"If Everybody Looked The Same"来自他们的第二张专辑。在英国排名25，这个知名度足以让英国大众知道他们的存在。在1999年7月"At The River"单曲在英国排行榜上进入前20名。发行后已经迅速的达到越过130,000份的销售。专辑的第三首歌"I See You Baby"亦在同年11月进入英国前20名。1999年是Groove Armada独特的一年。就像专辑在英国进入前20名一样;"Best Live Act"在Muzik杂志上获得提名并且赢得"Best Chillout Album"与"Vertigo"大奖。
对Groove Armada来说，2000年为限量精装版"Groove Armada - The Remixes"（从Vertigo编辑八个音轨，由DJ Icey、Attaboy、Kinobe与Tim共同混音）发行的一年。再发行版"Northern Star"（Tummy Touch）与受到喜爱的专辑"Back To Mine"一起发行。在这一年当中他们完成北美所有的巡回表演。
2001年8月Groove Armada发行第12首单曲"Superstylin"，灵感来自他们的第三张专辑"Goodbye Country （Hello Nightclub）"。另一张受到喜爱的专辑作曲者包括，Jeru Tha Damaja、Tim Hutton、Nile Rodgers与Richie Havens，于9月10号开始录制放在第五张专辑"My Friend"当中。在2001的冬季，Groove Armada带着表演乐团在各地表演包括剑桥、格拉斯哥、曼彻斯特、设菲尔德，里斯特、布里斯托尔、朴次茅斯和伦敦，在现场作秀过程中包括来宾蒂姆。赫顿和Celetia 马丁的现场演唱。
从英国到世界的另一端Groove Armada喜爱那次澳洲的满座演出旅行从这里中他们返回英国并且在2002年3月宣布英国的更进一步的旅行。2002年11月4日这些男孩发行第4张专辑"LoveBox"。这张专辑借由广告发行成功。单曲"Easy"与"Purple Haza"分别挤进前20名，并且在英国销售超过100,000张。Brixton Academy并在周末举办相关舞会。在几乎一年的休息之后，那些男孩已经花时间吸收新知并且带着新的想法返回进工作室。
